3 security elements killed, 8 injured in bomb blast in Tarmiya district, Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday, three elements of the security forces were killed and eight others were injured in a suicide bombing in Tarmiya district north of Baghdad, According to a police source.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “the outcome of a car bomb targeted the joint forces of the army and police in Lakes area in Tarmiya district, north of Baghdad, amounted to three deaths of the security forces and eight injuries.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The security force cordoned off the scene, while the injured were taken to a nearby hospital and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”
