4 Hezbollah Brigades suspects nabbed

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Four persons believed to belong to the so-called ‘Hezbollah Brigades’ were arrested during a U.S. security operation in the capital Baghdad, the U.S. army said on Sunday. “Acting on intelligence information, Coalition forces targeted a key Katai’b Hezbollah (Hezbollah Brigades) administrator assessed to have close ties to network leadership.,” according to a U.S. army statement received by IraqiNews.com. “Coalition forces approached the suspect’s location where they detained four suspected Katai’b Hezbollah criminals without incident. In addition, forces discovered several weapons,” it said. “Katai’b Hezbollah is assessed to be a proxy of Iran and its members are believed to be responsible for recent attacks against Iraqi citizens, Iraqi Security forces as well as Coalition forces. In the last two days, Coalition forces have detained six suspected Katai’b Hezbollah criminals,” the statement added. SS (P) 1
