50 countries join forces to fight ISIS says US Secretary of State

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday the American Secretary of State, John Kerry, confirmed that more than 50 countries, including Arab countries, agreed to join forces to fight the organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, adding that borders will not represent an obstacle to the actions which are taken against ISIS.

Kerry said during a joint press conference with the Iraqi President of the Republic, Fuad Masum, and the Foreign Minister, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, in New York followed by IraqiNews.com, that, “ISIS represents a threat to all countries of the world,” adding that “more than 50 countries, including Arab countries agreed to fight this organization.”

Kerry expressed his gratitude for “the efforts of President Fuad Masum and the Prime Minister Haider Abadi, to form a national unity government.”
