(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The US ambassador to Iraq, Stuart Jones, announced on Thursday the presence of 5000 advisers of the international coalition in Iraq, noting that his country has provided $56 million to support humanitarian efforts in Iraq.

Jones said in a press conference at the embassy building in Baghdad, attended by IraqiNnews.com, “there are more than 5,000 military advisers of the international coalition in Iraq,” stressing “the continuation of the United States and the coalition to target ISIS leaders.”

He added, “The United States announced yesterday at the United Nations providing $56 million to support humanitarian efforts in Iraq, raising the total financial aid to $534 million since 2014.”
