(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Interior Ministry announced Thursday, that six people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast south of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded this morning near shops in al-Dawra area south of Baghdad, resulting in the killing of one person and wounding five others.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “A security force rushed to the scene and transported the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the body of the dead man to the forensic medicine department.”
