 7 car bombs destroyed, 17 booby-trapped houses dismantled east of Ramadi

(IraqiNew.com) Baghdad – On Tuesday the federal police chief Raed Shakir Jawdat announced the destruction of seven car bombs, well as medium and light weapons belonging to ISIS, in addition the dismantling of 17 booby-trapped houses east of the city of Ramadi.

Jawdat said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The federal police forces managed today, during an operation carried out in Husaybah al-Sharqiya area east of the city of Ramadi, to destroy seven car bomb and medium and light weapons, as well as dismantling 17 booby-trapped houses.”

Jawdat added that “the operation was carried out with support from the international coalition forces.”

For his part, Anbar police chief said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Anbar police will participate in the liberation operations of the province.”
