9 ISIS elements killed, 4 vehicles destroyed in air raid in western Anbar

( Anbar – The commander of al-Jazeera and al-Badiya Operations in Anbar province announced on Sunday the killing of nine members of the ISIS in an Iraqi raid in western Anbar.

Maj. Gen. Ali Ibrahim said in an interview for “the Iraqi air forc, based on intelligence information bombed a gathering of ISIS elements in Kabisa (80 km west of Anbar), killing nine elements of the organization and destroying four vehicles.”

He added that “the cleansing battles are ongoing in the western areas of Anbar”, pointing to “dismantling 9 booby-trapped houses  and 97 explosive devices, as well as the destruction of five explosive belts in the cleansing battles in the area of Baghdadi in western Anbar.”
