9 kidnap, robbery rings arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Nine kidnap and armed robbery gangs were arrested in Basra within only one week, according to the province’s police chief on Sunday. “Security agencies captured 40 criminals making up nine gangs involved in kidnapping and armed robbery,” Maj. General Adel Dahham told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The operations to detain those criminals took place within a span of only one week in different areas of Basra,” he added.
