9 people killed, wounded in bomb blast west of Baghdad

( Baghdad – On Monday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior stated, that nine people had been either killed or wounded in a bomb blast west of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement received by, “This morning, a bomb exploded near a popular market in al-Nasr w al-Salam village in Abu Ghraib District west of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding eight others.”

The source added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine department.”
