Arab League chief condemns Arabia blast

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa condemned on Monday the car bomb explosion that targeted the office of the Dubai-based al-Arabia news channel in Baghdad. “This act is severely denounced and unjustifiable,” Moussa was quoted by the Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA) as saying. Earlier, an Iraqi interior ministry source said that the attack rose to six deaths and 20 others wounded. “Four of the al-Arabia staff and two civilians other near the blast scene were killed while the number of wounded rose to 20, including Sallam al-Zawbaie, a leading member of (former Iraqi Premier Iyad Allawi’s) al-Iraqiya bloc,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.
