Army Ground forces, Military Aviation carry out training mission in Maysan

Maysan, Ammara (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Army / Tenth Infantry Division and the First Armored Machined Regiment carried out the first Military training mission using armored tanks and live ammunition.

The Official Spokesperson of Maysan Operations Command, Muhand al-Hashimi, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The training parade was attended by the Head and members of Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee, the Commander of Ground Forces, Lieutenant General, Ali Ghaidan, the Commander of Rafidain Operations Command, the Commander of Basra Operations Command, the Commander of Aviation Squadron and several security leaders of the Ministry of Defense in addition to officials and elders from Maysan province.”

The Head of Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee, Hassan al-Saned, stated that ”The Tenth Division carried out an important training parade in terms of the readiness level of the division in combating terrorism where we noticed that there are a clear coordination between army and military aviation forces accompanied by the speed of implementation and specific cordoning to enemy locations.”
