Asadi meets Greek Ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad ( The Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Adnan Asadi, welcomed the Greek Ambassador and the representative of the NATO and they discussed the mutual interest issues.

The Ministry of Interior mentioned in statement received by on Monday ”During the meeting, the Greek Ambassador confirmed the will of his country to offer the expertise whether in military training or qualifying the Iraqi security forces of the Interior Ministry to develop their potentials in combating crime and terrorism in Iraq.”

The Greek Ambassador added ”Greece has been through a similar situation to Iraq’s bitter experience and managed to survive from it, wishing for Iraq, to win its battle against terrorism and to preserve security and safety.”

According to the statement ”The Interior Ministry Undersecretary stressed that the Ministry is interested in promoting the intelligence possibilities and skills to thwart information technology crimes and he expressed his appreciation to the help which was offered by the Greek Ambassador.” \
