Baghdad OC : 18 IEDs dismantled, wanted persons arrested

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A kidnapped person was freed and about (18) Improvised Explosive Devices were detonated under control in Baghdad.Baghdad Operations Command declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The security forces succeeded in freeing a kidnapped woman and arrested her kidnappers in Bob al-Sham area,” noting that ”The security forces also killed terrorist sniper affiliated to what is so called the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in Sa’adon area of western Baghdad.””The security forces of the 60th Brigade managed to detonate (18) IEDs without any losses in Zidan area of western Baghdad and dismantled another in Albo Sayfi area in Karkh side of Baghdad,” the statement added.”The security forces arrested several wanted persons according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law in various areas of Baghdad during the past (24) hours,” the statement concluded. \END\
