Baghdad Operations announces the death of ISIS Mufti of North Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Baghdad Operations Command announced on Tuesday the death of the legitimate Mufti of north Baghdad state and the arrest of two “terrorists” in Tarmiya district north of the capital.

Operations Commander Abdul Amir al-Shammari said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “we received information at dawn, today, about the existence of a hideout for terrorists on the outskirts of the district.”

Shammari added, “a security force went to the area and cordoned off the place, and a clash broke out between the force and the terrorists,” noting that “the force killed the ISIS Mufti of North Baghdad State and arrested two terrorists, while a suicide bomber blew himself up in the place of the clash.”
