Blast in southwest of Baghdad: Two dead, one injured

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Sunday, that two civilians were killed, while another was injured in a bomb blast that took place southwest of Baghdad.

Sharing details about the incident the source said, “This morning, an explosive device that was placed on a road at al-Bayah (southwest of Baghdad) exploded and two civilians lost their lives in it while another one was rseverely injured.”

Adding further the source said, “Police cars and ambulances rushed to the blast area. The bodies of the deceased were transferred to the forensic medicine authority and the injured was rushed to a nearby hospital.”
