Bomb blast kills 1 person, wounds 9 others in al-Dawra area south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior said on Friday, that ten people had been either killed or injured in a bomb blast south of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, an explosive device has went off near shops in the area of al-Dawra south of Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding nine others,” adding that, “A security force rushed to the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine authority.”
