Bomb blast kills, wounds 9 people north of Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior said on Friday, that nine people had been either killed or injured in a bomb blast north of Baghdad.

According to information shared by the source and received by, “An explosive device went off near a popular market in the area of al-Husseiniya, north of Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding eight others,” adding that, “A security force rushed to the scene and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital to receive medical treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine authority, while imposed a security cordon around the area of the incident and prevented approaching it.”
