Urgent – Zafaraniya explosion targeted wedding of official’s son

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “The explosion of Zafaraniya car bomb was targeting a wedding ceremony of Maliki adviser’s son.”

“The explosion of the car bomb, which took place in Zafaraniya area, was targeting the wedding ceremony of the son of Suham Fewri, who works as an adviser of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki,” the source mentioned.

A series of explosions hit Baghdad on Wednesday targeting Kadhimiya, Mashtal, Baladiyat, Baghdad al-Jededa, Sadr and Saydiya areas of Baghdad and resulted in killing and wounding dozens persons.
