Car bomb explodes in Beiji

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Four persons were injured when a car bomb exploded in northern Tikrit city.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday that ”The car bomb, which was parked near a popular market, exploded in Beiji district (40 KM) to the north of Tikrit city the capital of Salah-il-Din province,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring four persons.”

The source added “The police cordoned the explosion scene in anticipation of any further attacks and transported the injured people to the hospital for treatment.” \
