Car bomb explodes in central Samara

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb exploded in central Samara city on Sunday morning.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The car bomb targeted a checkpoint for the Ministry of Interior/ Special Forces in al-Katoon neighborhood,” noting that “The explosion did not result in casualties but caused material damage to the building of the check point.”

Earlier, some provinces witnessed car bombings and explosions that killed and injured dozens of citizens on Sunday morning.
