Car bomb goes off in central Wasit

Wassit (IraqiNews.com) A car bomb exploded in Kut city, capital of Wassit province.

A security source reported to Iraqi News on Sunday “A car bomb was emplaced at a street in central Kut went off on Sunday morning leaving a number of casualties.”

“A security force cordoned off the incident spot and blocked the streets leading to the neighborhood while the ambulances rushed to transport the casualties to a hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
