2 car bombs explode in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) 30 civilians were killed and other dozens were injured when two car bombs exploded in Maysan province on Sunday morning.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The first car bomb went off near a market close to the Holy Shrine of Ali al-Sharqi while the other exploded near the hospital of the district.”

“The Ambulances hurried to the explosion site and transferred the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source added.

“Intelligence information confirmed that more than one car bomb were brought into the province,” the source concluded.

Earlier, Kirkuk, Basra, Salah al-Din, Dhi-Qar and Nineveh provinces witnessed car bombings and explosions that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens.
