Chairman of Baghdad PC survives assassination attempt

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Chairman of Baghdad Provincial Council, Riyadh al-Adhadh, survived an assassination attempt when an Improvised Explosive Device targeted his patrol of northern Baghdad.

The Director of the Media Department within Baghdad PC stated “An IED targeted Adhadh’s patrol in Adhamiya area of northern Baghdad to result in damaging one of the vehicles of his patrol.”

“The explosion did not result in any human casualties,” he concluded.
