Civilian killed, body found separately in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A civilian man was killed inside his store while policemen found the body of a Yazidi man killed in tribal feud in two separate incidents in Ninewa province on Thursday, police said. “Unidentified gunmen threw a hand-grenade at a man inside his liquor store in the area of al-Faysaliya, eastern Mosul, killing him instantly and escaping to an unknown place,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. Meanwhile, the source said policemen found the body of a farm guard who belongs to the Yazidi religious minority in the district of Boesheiqa, east of Mosul. “The man, who showed signs of having been shot, was killed apparently in a tribal feud that has nothing to do with any armed operations,” he added. “The police launched a probe into the incident in a bid to arrest the culprits,” the source said. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
