8 Civilians killed, injured on Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed while seven others were wounded when a car bomb exploded in western Baghdad.

Security source reported to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Monday that “The car bomb, which was parked near the house of the cleric, Hamed al-Gharawy, exploded in Jihad neighborhood of western Baghdad,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a civilian and wounding seven others who were accidentally near the explosion scene.”

The source added “Al-Ghrawy survived the explosion but it caused material damage to his house and other nearby houses,” noting that “The police transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue and the injured people to the hospital for treatment.” \
