Clashes between security forces, tribes eastern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The security forces clashed with some tribes in Salman Bak district of eastern Tikrit.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The clashes happened between the security forces of Dijla Operations Command and the tribes of Salman Bak district.”

“The clashes caused by an armed attack by terrorist group on a military checkpoint which resulted in killing 14 of the truck drivers,” the source added.

“Dijla OC and the Federal Police conducted raid-search operation in Salman Bak district and arrested many of the persons there which resulted in the armed clashes,” the source concluded.
