Clashes with ISIS in Nineveh leave Police Director of Nimrud and his son dead

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) On Monday a security official in the police of Nineveh announced the killing of the police chief of Nimrud and his son after clashes lasted for more than an hour south of Mosul.

The source, who refused to be revealed for security reasons, said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “Elements of the organization ISIS clashed with Colonel Mohammed Hassan Al-Jubouri and his son and were able to kill them near their home in the area of Hamam, south of Mosul.”

The source added that the bodies of Al-Jubouri and his son had arrived at the forensic medicine in Mosul.
