URGENT: Commander of 6th Iraqi Army Division killed

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The The Spokesperson of Baghdad Operations Command, Lt. Gen. Qassem Atta, announced the death of the Commander of the Sixth Division of the Iraqi Army.

Shelling west of Baghdad killed the commander of the Iraqi army’s 6th division Monday, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s security spokesman said.

Maj. Gen. Najm Abdullah Sudan “was killed by hostile shelling in Ibrahim bin Ali,” Lt. Gen. Qassem Atta mentioned in a written statement before the press conference.
