Counter-Terrorism forces liberate northern Karama neighborhood

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations Command announced on Monday, that the Counter-Terrorism forces liberated northern al-Karama neighborhood in Mosul.
The command said in a press statement, “Today, Counter-Terrorism forces managed to liberate northern Karama neighborhood, in the eastern side of Mosul.”
“The security forces also raised the Iraqi flag over the buildings of the neighborhoods and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy,” the statement added.
Nineveh Province is witnessing wide-scale military operations to retake the city of Mosul, which was captured by the Islamic State in June 10, 2014.
