Defense Minister arrive in Saqlawiyah to check Fallujah cleansing battles

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashed al-Shaabi in Anbar Province announced on Monday, that the Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi arrived in Saqlawiyah north of Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad) to check the ongoing cleansing battles.
The commander of Fallujah Shield 2nd brigade, Colonel Ahmed Karim Bedaiwi, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi arrived in the northern sector of Saqlawiyah, at noon today, to check the ongoing cleansing battles against ISIS in Fallujah.”
Bedaiwi added, “The security forces will raise the Iraqi flag over the government buildings in Saqlawiyah in the next few hours, after liberating it from the control of ISIS members completely.”
