Diala official advocates deployment of troops in disputed areas

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of Diala’s provincial council on Wednesday said that it supports a plan to deploy joint forces in disputed areas, saying it may help to ease tensions in the province. “The council supports the deployment of forces from the Iraqi army, Peshmerga and the Multi-National Force (MNF) in Diala’s disputed areas,” Sayyid Taleb Mohammed Hassan told Iraqi News.
