Downtown Baghdad blasts kill 3, injure 6

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Nine persons were killed or wounded in two blasts that rocked downtown Baghdad this morning, according to a police source. “Two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) went off successively in al-Hurriyat Square, downtown Baghdad, killing three persons and wounding six others,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
