Drug smugglers arrested in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A security force of the Iraqi Federal Police arrested a drug gang in southern Mosul.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday that “The Federal police/ Third Division arrested a gang which is specialized in smuggling drugs in southern Mosul,” noting that “The police seized (4200) drug pills and IQD (21) million in the possession of the gang.”

The source added “The force confiscated the drugs and the money of the gang and referred the gang to the headquarter of the division for investigation and then to judicial authorities.” \
