ECONOMY: 21 billion Iraqi dinars granted for 2,000 Kurdistan Young Men, as part of small credits

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Minister of Labor & Social Affairs in north Iraq Kurdistan Region‘s government has said on Thursday that her Ministry had distributed 21 billion (b) Iraqi dinars among 2,000 Young Men, being part of a project for granting small credits, aimed at putting an end for unemployment in the Province. “Our Ministry has managed till now to spend more than 21 billion dinars among 1,800 young men, being part of a project to grant small credits, for those who began to implement their projects in industrial, trade, service, agricultural and tourist fields,” Minister Asous Najib Abdullah stated on Thursday. Abdullah explained that the Ministry “had distributed more than 8 billion dinars on about 546 young people, along with 4 billion dinars in Sulaimaniya city, distributed about 433 young men, as well as more than 5 billion dinars on 538 youngsters in Dohuk Province, as well as the distribution of more than 3 billions on 291 young people in Arbil Province. The Minister said that the credits including “projects, capital of which does not exceed 40 million dinars each in service, industrial, agricultural and tourist fields,” confirming that the decision “does not cover government and other employees in the private sector, with condition that each beneficiary’s age must be between 16 to 35 years, whilst the payment of the credits be on two phases and each project must begin after 90 days of the receipt of the credit.
