Female body found in Makhmour

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Joint forces found on Friday a female body in northeast of Makhmour district in northern Iraq, an army source said. “A joint force of police and army personnel found on Friday (Nov. 13) the body of a 20-year-old girl on the Makhmour-Qayara road in Makhmour,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The body bore signs of gunshot wounds to the chest,” he added. Makhmour, administratively belonging to the province of Ninewa, is one of the disputed areas between the central government in Baghdad and the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government.
