Former Baath leader arrested in Nassiriya

Dhi-Qar, Nassiriya (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested a wanted individual in Nassiriya city.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com that ”The police forces of Nassiriya city arrested the detainee, who was a leader in the former Baath party, after he entered Dhi-Qar province coming from Syria.”

The source refused to mention neither the name of the detainee nor his old post on Baath party but he reported that ”The detainee is wanted for Basra police for committing several crimes related to terrorism.”

The source continued saying that ” the detainee will be delivered to the police forces of Basra province.” \
