France launchs its first air strike against ISIS in Tikrit


( Chief of Staff of the French army announced Thursday, launching France’s first air strike against ISIS sites in the city of Tikrit.

The spokesman for the Chief of Staff of the French army said, “We launched on Wednesday evening an air strike in the framework of the US-led international coalition operation in Tikrit.”

“This was France’s first participation in the attack on Tikrit,” he added.

The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced on Wednesday, that the US-led international coalition was ordered to strike led by the United the ISIS group in Tikrit.

This comes in conjunction with the announcement of Prime Minister General Commander of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi, in a televised speech that the hour of salvation and victory has come and Salahuddin is finally “coming home,” stressing that ISIS no longer has a foothold in Iraq.

  1. France has very accurate JDAM guided bombs and missiles, so France can deliver bombs and missiles right on top of ISIL’s fighters heads.

    Soon Iraqi forces will be able to go into Tikrit, particularly if they take one western soldier with them who is a JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller). JTAC use a target designator to put onto any target then via radio to the fighter planes they call in airstrikes, then the fighter planes will release bombs that will hit that designated target with great precision. These have been around for many years and over they years the precision and reliability today has become much greater.
