2 Fugitives of Abu Gharib prison arrested in Anbar

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested two fugitives of Abu Gharib prison in the West Desert of Anbar province.A security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The police patrols of Anbar province managed to arrest two fugitives of Abu Gharib prison hiding in a plant to manufacture car bombs, weapons, highly explosive materials (TNT) and C4 in the West Desert of Anbar province.””The security forces lifted the weapons and explosives and kept it under custody while the detainees were transported to the police headquarter for investigation and then to refer them to the concerned authorities,” the source added.Taji and Abu Gharib prisons were attacked by unidentified gunmen among them Qaeda elements using IEDs, missiles and machineguns on 21/ July/2013 and they manage to release many prisoners, among them Qaeda terrorist leaders. \END\
