Gunman netted in Baghdad – MNF

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Multi-National Force (MNF) in Iraq said on Sunday that its troops captured a gunman who confessed to having specialized in planting improvised explosive devices during a security operation in southwestern Baghdad. “Forces from the 1st Combat Regiment, 1st Brigade, Baghdad, captured a gunman in a search raid in al-Amil neighborhood on Saturday,” according to an MNF statement received by IraqiNews.com. “The arrested man, who confessed to have emplaced roadside IEDs, was removed to an MNF combat center for interrogations,” read the statement.
