Gunmen attack IA checkpoint in eastern Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed and when unidentified gunmen attacked an Iraqi Army checkpoint in eastern Anbar on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The gunmen opened fire targeting the checkpoint in Albu Risha village,” noting that “The gunmen controlled the checkpoint.”

“The armed members of the tribes managed to clash with the gunmen and dismiss them,” the source added.

“The clashes did not result in casualties,” the source concluded.
