Head of Military Court in Nineveh survives assassination attempt

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Military Court in Nineveh province has survived an assassination attempt by an Improvised Explosive Device of northern Mosul.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday “The Brigadier General, Hassan al-Ubaidi, has survived an assassination attempt by IED that targeted his motorcade while heading to Filaifil area of northern Mosul.”

“The explosion resulted in material damage to one of the vehicles of the motorcade without any causalities,” the source concluded.
