5 IA elements killed injured in Heet district

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) Five elements of the Iraqi Army were killed and injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in Heet district of western Ramadi city the capital of Anbar province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”The explosion of the IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, was targeting an Iraqi Army checkpoint and resulted in killing an element of the IA checkpoint and injuring four others.”

The source added that ”The IA forces transported the dead body of the victim to the morgue and the injured persons were transported to the hospital for treatment.” \
