IA forces deploy on Iraqi-Syrian borders

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Nineveh Operation Command revealed that the Iraqi Borders Guards Forces with Syria announced of the deploying of two military regiments of the Iraqi Army in the Iraqi-Syrian borders, whereas the Governor of Nineveh province denied the arrival of the dead bodies of Iraqis from Syria.”

The source, who preferred not to be mentioned, stated to IraqiNews.com ”Two military regiments of the Iraqi Army have arrived to the Iraqi-Syrian borders,” noting that “The first regiment deployed in northeastern Mosul while the second military regiments deployed all long borders in Anbar province.”

The source pointed out ”The Iraqi forces have received straight orders to deal strictly with any situation may breach the security through the ports in Anbar and Nineveh provinces.”

The Governor of Nineveh province Athel al-Nijaifi confirmed that “The news, which were reported by some media outlets, over the arrival of dead bodies through Rabea’a border port of western Nineveh province, belong to Iraqis are groundless.”

The Governor continued saying that ”Nineveh Governorate stated preparing vehicles to the Iraqis who are coming from Syria on foot to Mosul and the Directorates of Health and Civil Defense will be ready to serve them.”
