IA patrol attacked in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device IED explosion in eastern Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Thursday that ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded, targeting an Iraqi Army patrol in Jazaar neighborhood of eastern Mosul the central of Nineveh province,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring an element of IA patrol.”

The source added “The Army forces transported the injured soldier to the hospital for treatment.” \
