3 IA Soldiers killed, injured north of Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed while two others were injured due to an armed attack in Tarmiya district (40 KM) to the north of Baghdad.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com that ”Unidentified gunmen attacked an Iraqi Army checkpoint in Shiekh Hamad village within Tarmiya district,” noting that “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack.”

The source pointed out that ”The two wounded soldiers were transported to the hospital for treatment while a security force started searching and inspection for the offenders.”
