IED explodes against Iraqi Army patrol in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: An improvised explosive device (IED) blew up against an Iraqi Army patrol, close to the building of Kirkuk Province’s Council on Saturday night, causing no casualties, a Joint Coordination Center in the city reported.   “An IED blew up against a vehicle, belonging to the Iraqi Army’s 12th Division in central Kirkuk, close to the building of its Provincial Council, causing damage to the vehicle only,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   The oil-rich city of Kirkuk is 280 km to the northeast of Baghdad.   SKH (TP) 568
