IED explodes in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded in al-Wassiti neighborhood in Kirkuk province on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED targeted a police patrol,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring a policeman and caused material damages to the vehicle.”

“A security forces hurried to the explosion vicinity and transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
