IED explodes in northern Tikrit [07/12/2013]

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded in al-Mashhad village of Shurqat district of northern Tikrit city on Friday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED explosion targeted a Sahwa checkpoint and resulted in killing two of its elements and injuring three others.”

“Police force transferred the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
