IED explodes in Samara

Sala-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting a checkpoint for the forces of the Ministry of Interior in Samara city on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED went off in al-Qadissiya neighborhood in Samara,” noting that “It was followed by heavy fire by the MoI forces.”

“The death toll is not identified yet,” the source concluded.
