IED explosion kills civilian eastern Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed when an Improvised Explosive Device IED exploded in eastern Mosul.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “The IED exploded targeting an Iraqi army patrol in Muthana neighborhood of eastern Mosul, the capital of Nineveh province,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a civilian who was accidentally near the explosion scene.”

The source added “The elements of the IA patrol were unharmed by the explosion while the dead body was transported to the morgue.” \
